Certificate in Geographic Information Science

The Geography Department of the Faculty of Arts and Science offers a study option leading to a Certificate in Geographic Information Science. This option is available to all Queen’s University undergraduate students regardless of their degree concentration, and is intended for those who wish to enhance their undergraduate degree with a Geographic Information Science Certificate. Students intending to enhance their degree program with the Certificate in Geographic Information Science should complete the Online Student Profile. The Certificate will be awarded upon successful completion of a degree program at Queen’s University. Students must pass all 30.0 units relating to the Certificate with a minimum GPA of 1.9. In order to receive the Certificate upon graduation, students are required to complete an application form in the Geography Department by September 1 for October Convocation, or by May 1 for June Convocation.
