Distribution: circumpolar, high-arctic

Ecology: In wet meadows, snow patches, seepages and other moist areas at Cape Bounty. Along with L. confusa, one of the most common and abundant arctic plant

Notes: Short, flat broad leaves with calloused tip. Easy to distinguish from L. confusa by its rosette-like whorl of short leaves
