Facility for Biogeochemical Research on Environmental Change and the Cryosphere

This new research laboratory is a shared facility between Dr. Melissa Lafrenière and
Dr. Neal Scott. Dr. Lafrenière's laboratory emphasizes the measurement of organic and inorganic constituents in aqueous samples, with a focus on various forms of nitrogen, other inorganic solutes, and dissolved organic carbon and nitrogen.

Dr. Scott's laboratory will focus on the analysis of elements such as carbon, nitrogen, and phosphorus in soil and vegetation samples, and also the measurement of key greenhouse gases.
