Department Awards

The Department of Geography Graduate Fellowship

Established in January 2001 by an anonymous donor to the Department of Geography at Queen's University. Awarded to a full-time graduate student in the Department of Geography on the basis of academic excellence, and meaningful research and study. This Fellowship will be awarded annually to a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D., M.Sc. or M.A. Value: $15,000. This award is especially targeted towards graduate students pursuing degrees in physical geography.

The Department of Geography Awards for Exceptional Merit

Established in January 2001 by an anonymous donor to the Department of Geography at Queen's University. Awarded to five to seven full-time graduate students who have been admitted to a Master's or Ph.D. program in the Department of Geography on the basis of academic excellence, and meaningful research and student. Value: $2,000 to $3,000.
